Let's not waste the time to dissect the movie's flaws and high points. It is, after all, mere entertainment of a song. This ain't National Geographic. Whether of not the film is historically precise or not, this movie gives an insight into the life of Cole Porter, what he gave to the American music scene, and some Delightful music interpretations by a few noted singers and musicians. It is a respite from the daily life, if only for a few hours and that is what Cole Porter did for a living. If you enjoy good acting, good music, and a glimpse of what Hollywood and Broadway life was like at that time, this movie is all that it reputed to be. Enough Said.
