For those movie lovers that like a very interesting story, a built-in travel log of exotic locations, interesting characters, and an appreciation for history -- this movie must be seen. The movie presents the story of Marco Polo as a young man, accompanying his father and uncle into China, and their adventures in such a journey and their experiences. As you watch the movie you are moved out of the present day to ancient days, around 1271 when Europe was still isolated from the Far East and dominated by the Roman Catholic church. This outstanding movie, to my knowledge, has not received the recognition it deserves. As you watch it, it transcends you from the present day to a gripping story about ancient days.
