Nekromantik 2 (1991)
7/10
Not your typical gore movie but worths a watch for it's unusual script.

*SPOILERS!! BIG ONES* The sequel to the infamous and heavily criticized "Nekromantic" delivers some interesting scenes filled with gore but lack of feeling. The movie moves very slow and the fact that the score is dull and sometimes tedious doesn't help the movie to become entertaining or interesting. What really got me was the deep plot involving feelings, sex, gore, and violence. The situations are bizarre but passionate.

Monika M's performance is average. I know that her character needs special skills because it's a really difficult situation the one she's been through but I think that she wasn't that passionate for the role.

I expected a whole lot more from the shocking, thrilling ending. The scene is raw and shocking itself but I guess that it could've been more shocking. It's disturbing, and I don't mind saying provocative. The way she hurries in order to get her ex lover's head and places it on the recent dead man is as weird as you can expect. But the highlight is the way she "rides" the dead body with the rotten head. Nice. I haven't seen any other scene like that involving a decapitation, gore, and sex in such a brutal way. The scene delivers and makes the movie worth watchable just for it.

I praise the director's intention to shock the audience and display the Necrophiliac disease as a deep feeling.

There's plenty of violence, gore, sex, and the occasional shocking scenes so if you are into exploitation this is a must see. Probably not as best as the original Nekromantik but still deserves a watch. The movie is visually stunning and the camera angles are really good. The gore effects are also top notch and are the highlight of the movie.

The movie is worth the watch for it's shocking content and brutal scenes. Also, Monika M. is very, very attractive.
