The plot of this movie is about a Ukranian Madman attempting to obtain nuclear weapons in order to restore the former Soviet Union and after the Russian Government has failed to do anything about it, it's up to the American special forces to rescue American hostages and restore peace and safety, and only one man, the Painter, can do the job... It is as if it was written with these games in mind. The plot, the characters are all from these games.
About snipes, It seems lately that Snipes is trying to capture the younger viewers to maintain his career. out of the straight to video movies he's done, the only one that I found interesting was Liberty Stands Still.
