Women You Date and Women You....

Definitely a good movie, well written, good dialogue, intelligent..., but I agree with another comment that noticed how similar this story is to "Crimes and Misdemeanors" a much better movie in my opinion.

A friend of mine recently told me of a date he had and pointed out that she's a "woman you ----", not marry. I think that was the theme of this story. Chris (rhys myers) found the perfect woman, tons of money, fabulously wealthy life, all the comfort a man could ever ask for and best of all; he didn't really have to work for it, just marry it. Then there's Nola, (Johhanson) who is a sexy struggling actress, not making it. She has no money, comes from a crappy home life and basically has nothing to offer this guy except her body. When she wants more he has no intention of giving up this great life he's acquired, even though he's in a loveless marriage. He has an internal crisis. What to do? Be with the sexy siren, or stay in the comfortable married life with kids, money, and perhaps boredom. Which is better? He has to decide. Clearly Nola is not a woman he'd ever consider marrying so in order to avoid risking losing his new life he has to get rid of her. Good story, but as I said "Crimes and Misdemeanors" did it better.
