Out Of This World Revolves around the lives of the Garlands, Troy lives in outer space on Antarius married to Donna who lives on Earth with their Daughter Evie, and Donna's Uncle Beano. On her 13th Birthday, Donna tells Evie that her father does not work for the Government but is actually an alien from another planet. She learns after that that she has the ability to Freeze Time and later develops other powers and just like other teens dealing with their crazy mixed up teenage years, so does Evie. The big difference is that when Evie gets mad at her mom she can freeze her and walk away (most teens would want that power, I'm Sure). Add in a few thought challenged friends, a lot of power-mis-hap's, and u have 96 funny episodes of a 1/2 hour comedy show that started the new "Sabrina" craze! Before Out Of This World, any television characters that had powers were usually adults with the exception of Tabitha from "Bewitched", who only used her powers once in a great while. Evie is and will always be the #1 Alien-human mix in my book of television history!
