Very well done

Warning: Spoilers
Although this is my least favorite of the LOTR trilogy, I still love it. The opening monologue was extremely well-done. It's interesting that when I first saw this movie, I had not heard anything previously concerning this story; I had no clue to what it was about. It was October of 2002. I watched the non-extended version at a family member's house. I didn't know what to think of it, and i hadn't heard of Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortenson, or even Orlando Bloom.

**Spoilers begin here***

But I really loved it. The music for the Weathertop battle was well done. I'm glad that the movie makers cut Tom Bombodil, though I didn't know he was part of the story until I read the book a year and a half later.

I won't go into major detail, but I must say that this was one big movie, and deserves to be watched. If you like any of the main character-actors, you'll love this movie.

10/10.
