ChuckleVision (1987–2009)
4/10
OK for children, not for much else
27 September 2006
The programme works for the audience it is aimed at, but seems to fail everywhere else. The episodes are often repetitive and seem to deal with the same old gags. The episodes revolve around the Chuckle brothers being given simple jobs or attempting simple tasks, only to fail in a slapstick way. This system has been used for years and has seemingly failed to change in anyway. Nowadays, the two actors seem slightly too old to be running and jumping around like children.

The programme does succeed in providing a comedy that is suitable for children of all ages. The slapstick is easily understood by younger children which is often used in modern day cartoons. However the formula being the same for each episode means that once you have seen one episode of the Chuckle brothers' antics, you've more or less seen them all.
