This is the worst omaha made movie ever!
18 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I was lucky (or unlucky if you will) to see this forthcoming movie in advance due to my connections with an actress who appears in the movie. Not wanting to hurt my friend's feelings, I grit my teeth and grimaced through what has to be the worst movie ever made in Omaha about Omaha! Not only is the script awful, full of clichés, poorly written dialogue, it stereotypes everything and everyone in Omaha.***contains spoilers*** I'm sorry, but not everybody in Omaha (or hardly anyone I know) goes to Branson for vacation! In addition, the characters are trite, the production values are incredibly poor (was there really any lighting used? One can't tell), and I just felt incredibly sad for all of the actresses/actors involved as they spent what felt like an eternity trying to get out Omaha (what they should have done was tried to get out of this movie!) Most likely, this will end up on T.V. late at night, but it's pathetic to think that people actually invested money in a project as lame as this. How could Omaha-based producer Dana Altman (grandson of the late Robert Altman) be involved in dreck like this? You are warned!
