Thelma and Patsy are dancers in a Burleque house but get fired because they can't keep in step with the other girls. Patsy does some great tap but Thelma can't keep up and they both end up taking a job working for a magician. This is another one of those guys with a real heavy accent (German but similar to the Jewish accents of the time)who puts Thelma on the backs of 2 chairs then levitates her so shes floating in the air. He gets bopped on the head and Thelma floats out the window and over the pool. Patsy chases after her and lassos her and brings her back like a balloon. The last trick involves a cannon and of course it ends up aimed at the audience. A few seconds of scantily clad women in the Burleque house adds a little precode style to a quite funny short.
