I actually saw this movie last year and liked it but came across it again and wanted to see it.I liked it better then some of the newer American horror movies i've seen lately which were just nothing but cheap thrills and gore.Of course that's not to say there aren't good ones out there because there are tons,especially independent ones.Long time dead has a simple realistic story with a nice twist at the end and wasn't mixed with camp or too much comedy.It is classic horror with good effects. There have been a few other good movies made similar to this one that deals with the consequences of using a Ouija board.I prefer a suspense or horror movie to be scary and if you have a good surround sound system or just watching it in 2.0 stereo and are watching this movie late at night, you are in for some good scares.I don't scare easily but jumped several times. I find that supernatural horror movies and the ones that deal with ghosts,demons or the devil are scarier if the story is told right. It is refreshing to see a British horror. The director and all the actors did a fine(brilliant) job! It was nice to see Lukas Haas in the movie.He has been in some really good movies lately.I am looking forward to seeing him again soon in a new horror called the cradle.
