Goodness gracious, great sweaty balls of fire

Well, what can I say? It certainly is amazing. Although... Unfortunately... I do have one or two complaints (although a lot more compliments.) For one thing, since Gears of War came out, I decided those graphics HAD to be a standard for any game where the developers truly cared about the work at hand. So while pretty much everything is perfect about this game, I have to complain about the graphics. Now, don't get me wrong. Not all of it was bad... For example, Master Chief is beautifully done and very impressive... But. As far as the environments go, the graphics could have be a lot better, though some levels were done better than others. For instance, the opening level takes place in the jungle. I can imagine coming up with a beautiful jungle level while putting in a lot of other stuff (i.e. physics, A.I., etc.) to be a extremely difficult task, but still... It seriously looked as if that level could have been played on the original Xbox. But then again, there are some levels later on such as a desert one which are a lot better, but still could have used some improving. But enough of my b****ing. The physics to the game are incredible. Spec-f**king-tacular. You get same crazy scenarios like warthogs flying through the air and then shot by a spartan laser and the b**** just gets F**KED UP. The A.I. is also really impressive. I can easily say it's by far the best I have ever played against. Speaking of which, Legendary is impossible. Period. At least by yourself. I'm sure there are some expert gamers that could murder on Legendary (no pun intended), but for people who actually have lives... You could never do it. It's intense. But still extremely fun. And as I was saying earlier, the A.I. is amazing, so every time you play, you always get different outcomes... Which means every time you die on Legendary, it actually takes a reeeeeally long time to get tired of that area you just keep dying in (though it does happen), the replay value is priceless. Also... the online multiplayer is life-changing. To tell you truth, Halo and Halo 2 online actually got kinda boring for me pretty fast. But this? I just can't stop. It's amazing. It gets so chaotic, so intense. Online, you just have so many opportunities to kick so much a** in so many different ways that, right now, it just does not seem like it's going to get old any time soon.

I am having a really tough time deciding whether i give this game a 9 or a 10, because I'm such a big fan of graphics that this game was a tad of a let down. But you should also know that the multiplayer maps, for some reason, seem to have a lot better graphics... Overall, the gameplay is awesome. It's better than Gears, no doubt, as amazing as that game is. It even got my super-Christian, Halo-disapproving mother interested (she tried for ten or twenty minutes but just could not get the controls down and quit.) But yeah, it is absolutely imperative, on your f**king life, you need to get this game... you'll be bored so much less... it'll also probably get rid of your TV and porn addiction.
