Great moments in history
29 December 2007
Charlie Wilson's War was a very entertaining movie. It is a drama about the unusual, fascinating, often humorous life of Congressman Charlie Wilson. The dialog was very well written and fast paced. The story was easy to follow. Phillip Seymour Hoffman stole the movie as Gust. Tom Hanks deserves an Oscar for his portrayal of Wilson. Julia Roberts's performance was also extraordinary. The language and sexual content make it unsuitable for children. The book is even better than the movie. If you liked the book, you will really love the movie and vice versa. It was a revealing glimpse of recent US history. This is one movie you don't want to miss!
