Tooth Fairy (2004)
7/10
A cute little short

Warning: Spoilers
This isn't the deepest nor the most inspiring short I have ever seen, but it is entertaining and well worth a look. One particular aspect of the film I liked and found fascinating is that the couple in the film are NOT traditional (one is a white guy--the wife is a black woman) and this was never even mentioned or alluded to. The fact that it was done in matter of fact manner was a big plus for me.

The film begins with the little girl mentioning that somehow the Tooth Fairy forgot to leave any money last night. Dad, trying for a quick save, says that's it's an especially busy time of year and the Tooth Fairy is backed up--but WILL DEFINITELY come tonight. The problem is, when dad comes to put money under her pillow, the tooth is gone and there is a note sending him on an all night long scavenger hunt. But, because he loves his kid, he puts up with all this to keep her little dreams alive.

A cute film that stars Chris Noth ("Law and Order") as the dad. Worth a peek.
