I did enjoy that microwave scene.
17 May 2009
One scene, however, does not a movie make. This movie also has a plot that was done to death at this point. I think "Shocker" was just before or after this, the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies had already covered the subject which is that of a serial killer, killing from beyond the grave. Here the killer does it by using machines to move from place to place. The only memorable death scene though was the microwave one. There is mainly stupid scenes here and there that really go nowhere, still have never scene the virtual reality machines in your average arcade they showed here and it is now 2009. The movie is kind of a combination of the films "Shocker" and "Pulse" with this one really not doing anything special to distance itself from either of those two movies. I will not say avoid this movie at all costs though as it does have some entertainment value. It does have the feel of a movie that you can get your friends over and make fun of and there is always that microwave scene!
