This rotting corpse should have stayed in the tomb

Appallingly bad. I really wanted to like a movie directed by Sean Connery's kid, but there was nothing redeemable in this "effort". It wasn't just disappointing to see the great Ron Perlman and Cuba Gooding Jr. in this piece of dreck, it was actually depressing. The script is about what you'd expect from someone with Keith Kjorne's resume - utterly devoid of any sense. The dialogue is unintentionally funny and the sets and effects are cheap and cheesy. While this combination occasionally - but nonetheless rarely - produces a movie that at least has some camp value, such is not the case here.

In short, The Devil's Tomb makes such movies as Terminal Invasion or The Woods or any of the Phantasm series look like high art. What a stinker.
