Review of Trauma

Trauma (2009–2010)
10/10
OK, I'll watch this!
30 September 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I watched the pilot yesterday. I hesitated between Lie To Me and this, but my affection to medical dramas won. I watched it with some hesitation, because not every medical drama can win my love, but this one succeeded in like 5 minutes. HUGE SPOILER! When I first saw the helicopter, I thought that it will fall to the staff, but then I thought nobody would put a helicopter-crash in a medical show after the fabulous helicopter-scenes with the late Dr. Romano, but then it turned out that I was wrong. Somebody did, and I should tell he/she did it very well! That scene was fantastic! As I was watching the two helicopters falling down, I forgot to bite into my sandwich and said to myself: OK, I definitely will watch this! SPOILER OFF Anyway the pilot was very good for a first episode, and I wait with excitement for the next one. Trauma indeed has potential, and most of the characters seem interesting. The actors are mostly average, believable people. Nancy - I hope this is the name of the blond girl - is a bit too artificial to me, too much make-up, hair-product etc., but never mind. Cliff Curtis is on the other hand rules the screen, he obviously enjoys his character, and can totally make it real. By the time of the end of the episode, SPOILER! when they slept - or tried to slept - together,SPOILER OFF I was totally a "regular viewer".
