My 3 year old son hates The Fresh Beat Band! He cries whenever they are on Nick Jr. We first saw them when he would watch Diego with the On Demand feature our cable company has. This morning I realized that they have their own show! Hurrah! There is nothing like having a screaming 3 year old first thing in the morning! My son loves music, but not their music. He just cries and begs for Diego. "Diego, Diego, Diego. Where is my Diego, Mommy!"
The Fresh Beat Band doesn't make me cry, but I do agree with my son. The band is just not good. Their voices are decent enough, but they don't seem to want to be doing their job. They look bored with their fake smiles and lame dance moves. I think Nick Jr. is trying to capitalize on the success that the Disney Channel has with their music acts, but they have failed miserably.
