There is simply nothing dire about it at all. Anybody who does not at all like the show is a pussy, has low standards of comedy and needs to learn to laugh. All of the comedians are very funny and entertaining. The stand-up challenges such as "Scenes We'd Like To See"(my personal favourite) are spectacular.
Dara O'Briain is a wonderful host. Frankie Boyle is simply a joke ace. Hugh Dennis is a master impressionist. Russell Howard is the brightest comedian all around. Andy Parsons is the best satirist on TV. David Mitchell and Ed Byrne also make regular guest appearances.
It never fails to deliver a smile on my lips or make me laugh out loud. Also, the guests are not the same each week. There is a variety of comics adding their own flavour and style making MTW an incredibly superb and unique show. That way we can see things from loads of other people's different views. Contestants get points for being funny. They take this weeks news and spin it around to make it much more funny and lighthearted.
