No surviving playmate centerfold has done more to ruin her career than Pamela Anderson. I hated Baywatch. Then there was the movie flop, Barbwire, where she was the female action hero who tortured evildoers with electrical shock. The booze, the drugs, and abusive Tommy Lee have made this 38 year old star of the show look a lot older than she is. But the show itself is stacked with glib, sophisticated writing of Murphy Brown caliber. It was a surprise that deserved to stay on TV more than a few seasons. But instead, it joined the ranks of popular show cancellations like Star Trek and Twin Peaks. Two stars under ten for aging Pamela as the cute blonde bimbo. There's just too much eye shadow and wrinkles on her face for the part. Give me a youthful pictorial of her to watch instead of this any day.
