I wasn't disappointed by this movie at all. Disney has done this for years: Pick a theme and then use clips from established films, bridge them together by a little original animation to support the theme, in this case, Christmas, and call it a "special". Over the years, I've seen several Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse specials that were exactly like this one. Nothing new; however, this was not a complete waste of time. The scenes were well done and overall, it was very entertaining from a child's perspective. I enjoyed some of the "classic" cartoons that were thrown in the mix (at least I think they were classic; they may have been new material designed to look old). While I might not give it high marks for originality of concept, my 3 year old granddaughter was thrilled by it, and that's all that counts...
