I know this is Disney but... come on! The script is horrible. The special effects are pathetic (worse than the Disney TV shows and that says a lot). And the acting is so bad it is hard to believe that at least four of main actors have regular jobs on TV.
I have seen in other reviews that the book is apparently much better. If that is the case I pity the poor people that had to watch this abomination with prior knowledge of the written material and came to this with expectations of something they would like.
I watched this because I thought that Britt Robertson (from LUX) and Molly Quinn (from Castle) have a great future in acting ahead of them. After this little incoherent debacle my faith in that prognosis is shaken.
