Being a big fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, I went in to the cinema ready for a blast. I got a blast.... a bad one. With it's lame jokes and terrible dialog, I was let down by the the sheer awfulness of the big-screen adaptation. Then, the sequel SOMEHOW came. " Oh dear god," I thought to myself. A sequel? I looked up the trailer, and I was blown away..... in a VERY good way. I had to see this. Off to the multiplex I went. And when Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules started up on the screen, my respect for 20th Century Fox was restored. Where do I begin? With the viral video of Rowley singing "Tic Tok" by Ke$ha, and Rodrick continuously torturing Greg, I just laughed, laughed like a hyena. It was far better than than it's father, and the book was changed for a purpose. I loved it.
