Review of Devil

Devil (2010)
2/10
Boring

Right before watching this film, I saw "The Innocents" (1961) and "The House on Telegraph Hill" (1951). If you want to feel chills, I recommend those movies, and suggest you ignore this release completely.

If you are a big movie fan and reached the point where you can tell who's going to die next and figure most of the mystery even before it begun (like it happened to me with "Devil"), this is clearly not the film for you.

It's really been a long time since I watched such a predictable movie which is too bad, because the idea sounds great and the acting was OK, nothing special, but pretty believable. Not just the scenes, but also the dialogue could be foreseen, having lots of clichéd lines.

I wasn't ever scared, not even for five seconds. I guess it's good as your first horror movie to watch ... ever.
