Roller Derby: Alive (sort of) And Well
31 March 2012
The older you are, the more you probably remember the Roller Derby. Just like pro wrestling, it was legit in the really old days until about around 1950 when it became more of an entertainment show for the fans.

Do they still exist today? Yes, but they were big stuff in their day and especially when the sexy Racquel Welch had the role of one of the players in the 1972 film, "Kansas City Bomber."

Anyway, in this story, one of the skaters goes off the rink, doubled over, and heads to the locker room. Something is very wrong but with the quick sight and sound bytes it's hard to tell anything until the rest of the team discovers her on the floor dead.

Who killed her? Another player? The opposing coach? An old friend? The list goes on and on, as it usually does on CSI.

The main question for us, the viewer, is, "Is it fun to watch?" The answer is "yes," it is, especially for the guys who like to ogle these girls providing mayhem to one another.
