While GONE has an interesting concept, it fails to deliver. Too many coincidental things happen in ONE DAY. No way could all this happen, no matter how determined the 'damsel in distress' wants to be. Many strange characters and red-herrings don't help. The acting is as good as it can be under the circumstances. Poor dialog makes for very difficult characterizations. Reminds me of TAKEN, and implausible as that was, I had a better time watching it. My advise: Rent something else. Or better yet, rent some really good thrillers that are out there with better writing, editing and more plausible situations. See this one at your own risk. And I hope that the actor WESS BENTLEY get better roles in the future.
