Flawed but Intense

Warning: Spoilers
I'll start off by saying I am definitely a fan of "Sons". The reason i start by saying that is that even though i definitely enjoy watching the show there is still a lot of problems that i have with it. I'll start with the good. On the good side this TV show hosts some of the best characters out there and there isn't an episode that goes by where the viewer feels some sort emotion for what is going on. On the flip side it seemed like a bit of a contradiction to me that the club is almost glorified and made out to be these smart, smooth, criminals who have built this huge successful biker gang, but most of the time it seems that they make some of the dumbest decisions possible and leave me shaking my head in confusion and frustration. Luckily these worries are all taken care of by the end of season 2. Season one however despite its flaws still gripped me and made me want to keep watching. I didn't have the pleasure of watching this show while it was on TV so i didn't feel the anxiousness of having to wait until next week to see what happens. I could just press play on the next episode. Another beef that i have with this season is the gun fights. There are plenty of gunfights but sometimes the mayans and sons will be standing less than 20yards away from each other bustin caps and nobody is getting hit or at the very most maybe some random mayan will get killed or a son will take a bullet in the leg. Seems pretty unrealistic to me that a group of 30 men standing in the wide open shooting at each other wouldn't cause more casualties. Oh well the show makes up for these shortcomings with drama. Normally I'm not a big fan of drama like in the walking dead its the drama that annoys me and i watch it for the zombie killing but with sons its the drama and deep characters that make you anxious to see what happens next. Another small problem i have with the show is the two chicks jax has going for him. They both annoy me, one is a junky and the other is whining all the time and makes me sick, you'd think some gangster like Jax would be able to tell those dumb women to kick rocks. In conclusion i'd say that sons is a good show for people of all areas whether you know anything about organized crime or not this show will be interesting to you and has both parts drama and raw violence. Good stuff.
