Rizzoli & Isles: No More Drama in My Life (2012)
Season 3, Episode 15

"Rizzoli and Isles" collapsed in on itself and died tonight

Warning: Spoilers
Whenever the writers of a cop show get a notion that their characters should become intricate to the plot as victims, there should be warning lights that flash "CAUTION" on their monitors.

This started out as a good series. I have watched every episode so far, and besides a few minor, troublesome elements, I've enjoyed most of what I've seen. The problems in the story line were few, interestingly quirky, and fairly easily over-looked.

It's, as the show's viewers know well, about two strong women who excel in their respective careers but face struggles in their personal lives. As close friends, they help one another to both solve crimes, and find their way through life problems as diverse as family issues, relationship troubles, and even metaphysical questionings.

The show has been teetering on the edge for some time but was not yet lost. However, tonight's episode caved in, crushed any working vehicles, and may spell doom for the series.

Sure, TNT is cable and can run the show for longer than some of the other networks, but if they are out of ideas already, then the cracks in the structure are deep and the entire production is ready to fall.

The victims should be the very "characters" behind this episode.

Will the rubble get cleared away? Will those responsible be held to a higher building code? Time will tell.
