I made a point of watching Jim Jefferies stand-up before watching the first episode of 'legit' and you can see how he has weaved his vulgar/offensive jokes into the show. Unfortunately, this will turn a LOT of viewers off it. Make sure the kids don't sneak into the room while your watching because you might have lots to explain to them. But as an adult comedy show it is refreshingly funny. Jim's character is unbelievably offensive, but not in a nasty way. He will say and do whatever fun ideas pop into his head, however his brain isn't wired for conversations with Mr and Mrs average American. DJ Quols does a brilliant job as a quadriplegic confined to a wheelchair who just wants to 'live'... I must admit I'm not a fan of his stand-up because it relies on shocking the audience rather than intelligent wit.
