A important episode but not for its plot.

Warning: Spoilers
Growing up the several times I saw this episode I always thought it was just another episode, along with thousands of other kids who thought the same. However this episode is significant because of what occurred off set. As stated by the trivia this is the final episode to have physically on set footage of the actors/actress Austin St. John (Jason), Walter Jones (Zack), and Thuy Trang (Trini) before their untimely departure from the series. Sometime after this episode was filmed the three of them left the series, because of a pay dispute with Saban. Due to Thuy, Austin, and Walter's departure several things had to be changed. One notable thing that people would question (this is also in the trivia) is why Jason is leading the team in the morphing sequence if Tommy was named new leader as seen in episode "White Light: part 2". The reasoning was because Jason was suppose to remain leader even when Tommy became the White Ranger however once Austin St. John left the show that concept was changed. The line about Tommy being the new leader in "White Light: part 2" was added in later. Another change that occurred was that the Trini-Richie storyline (Richie was Trini's crush/love interest) along with the character Curtis (Zach's Cousin) had to be dropped. Due to this the actors portraying Richie and Curtis were let go. Its a shame that we never got to see what would of became between Trini and Richie. Anyone who watches the episodes focusing on Trini and Richie can tell they had a developing storyline for their characters and I'm pretty sure eventually they would of become what Kimberly and Tommy were.
