The SVU squad gets to investigate the murder of a college coed who not having some rich parents has to raise tuition money any way she can. As the squad investigates they finds that the victim was selling term papers on line and also doing a little high stakes gambling as well.
Eventually Benson, Stabler and Tutuola settle on Will Estes, a childhood friend of the victim who has similar financial problems. Estes is also reaching for the moon in other ways. He's going out with the victim's roommate Trieste Kelly Dunn who is one high maintenance girl. It's what leads to his downfall.
