Garfield becomes a star

Warning: Spoilers
I'm a great fan of that fat orange cat, I can't deny it. And Lorenzo Music', who has left us way too early, work is among my favorite voice performances for animated movies ever. The way he portrays Garfield is just exactly the way I imagine him. In this Emmy-nominated short-film, Garfield, Odie and Jon participate in a local talent show, give a fine performance as Elvis Presley impersonators and beat the handful of competitors, which gets reduced further when Odie exposes a man posing as piano-playing dog.

As a result of the victory, it's off to Hollywood for the trio. After initial doubts, Garfield quickly starts enjoying the good life. Well, he's always had an attitude and finally he's at the right place to show it. Now, all they have to do is win the competition. This proves a lot harder as they're facing really talented folks here, singing chickens, ballet-dancing bulldogs, piano-playing pigs, dog acrobats and an opera-singing cat. I'd have expected Garfield to fall in love with her, but no way. He stays all competitive and he and Odie give us a professional performance. But will it be enough for the win? See for yourself.
