Watch the original

I stumbled across this movie by accident, and couldn't get myself to sit through the poor voice acting. Then, being my stubborn self, I went and tracked down an original copy of the movie, knowing that these things are never done justice. So many things are lost in translation, and boy was I right.

This is not a story about a guy who wants to be a Kung Fu master, this is a story about a guy who is thrust into a world in chaos, thanks to his kind and helpful nature, and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He sets off on a journey that ultimately leads to him discovering his own true potential.

The art may be similar to that of Kung Fu Panda, but that really doesn't take away from the fact that this is just a classic Chinese story about living up to your potential and being the best person you can be, not hide behind makeup, violence and fear.

The English voice overs really don't do the movie justice. Try out the original; the title is Tu Xia Chuan Qi, or Legend of a Rabbit.
