The film is far better than I expected.
I watched it with my 5 year old son and he was thrilled. Length of about 50 minutes is quite adequate for a very young audience, which was apparently the target group of filmmakers.
The characters are of course black and white (which is good), the film has plenty of action and fun, and it's a fresh way to process old story about Jack and the Beanstalk.
Plus, the film is also a great way to explain to a 5 years old child what a mortgage is.
My personal favorite is the giant's song, with his boasting of terrorizing the city populated by fairy tale characters.
