Hannibal: Amuse-Bouche (2013)
Season 1, Episode 2

Warning: Spoilers
If you think the previous episode was hard on eyes with human lungs being roasted in a fry pan, you better not watch this episode. The logo at the end of first episode pretty much sums it up "The Living Dead". And I though walking dead was gore.

Will plunges deeper and deeper into the field, with little help from Hannibal. Jack want's to psycho evaluate him for post traumatic stress disorder after his first encounter or his usual emphatic disorder. But things turn upside down when a nosy journalist appears.

More of a philosophical episode with another serial killer on the lose. Pretty much an interesting viewing barring the mushrooms. The serial killer in this episode has a more confused and philosophical reason for killing as he wants his victims to connect with nature. As we all come fro mother earth and stuff. Anyways the more interesting aspect is the introduction of a "Rita Skeeter" to the crime scene and a few excellent interaction sessions of Dr. Hannibal and Graham, with some teasingly witty one-liners. Performance wise, Dancy and Mads both improve upon their already excellent performance. Lara and Lawrence are convincing.

Direction: Nice.

Script/Story: Witty and strong.

Acting: Dancy and Mads are great.

Music: Fitting.

All in all a nice episode and God! I'll never eat mushrooms again!
