The original 1933 'King Kong' is definitely the best King Kong (and in my opinion, the best horror movie) around. With great special effects from the legendary Willis O.Brian! Lots of people say they don't like it just because it's black and white. I say, "Go watch It! You'll Change Your Mind!"
The movie tells of a man named Carl Denham, who needs a girl to star in his latest picture. When he finally finds a girl, named Ann Darrow, he whisks her off to a place called Skull Island. There, the local inhabitants capture her and sacrifice her to their God, Kong. And so starts the amazing, action packed adventure.
With no goofs easily spotted, massive dinosaurs, and a glowing New York in the '30s, you're bound to love it. Overall, if you like amazing old horror movies like 'Dracula' (1930), and 'Frankenstein' (1931), then I definitely recommend this amazing movie to YOU!
