In order to fully understand this movie you have to know about the United States in the 1920's. William Carlos Williams, arguably the greatest poet of all time, uses many of the same artistic devices and ingenuity as seen in this film. Originality, innovation, and creativity in this movie demonstrate that the film industry has a lot of room to grow. Most movies today are spinoffs of other famous movies, but not this one. It challenges the limits of artistic freedom. Knowing that the original was made on a budget of $40, it puts other producers to shame. Please have an open mind and try to use Williams' Imagination to understand the movie.
