Mending Fences (2009 TV Movie)

The only big name I recognized here was our very own Police Woman, Angie Dickinson. Check out her profile on IMDb and in wikipedia; she's had a really interesting life, working with Frank Sinatra, John Wayne, and others on some big films.

The story here is a common one, one that my own acquaintances actually experienced. Small town developer tries to rush in casinos, bypassing the rules, and it's up to several individuals to uncover it and try to stop it, or at least make the developer follow the rules. Of course, in my friends' case, they didn't have the over-the-top clashes with attempted murder, and firing of weapons at town meeting, but I guess we can attribute that to trying to spice up an otherwise common, everyday story. This seems to be Hallmark Channel material, directed by Stephen Bridgewater. He's directed or worked on TONS of Larry Levinson films, which seems to be synonymous with Hallmark Channel. Its entertaining, but keep those expectations in check.
