Warning: Spoilers
While I appreciate the lack of crude humor in this film which the majority of comedy films (if not all) rely on so heavily for cheap jokes. The writers also omitted to include actual humor in the script, so what you get is 98 minutes of a whiny unappealing central character who is a full time mother who plans a night out which then leads to a series of contrived allegedly funny scenarios. She is also a so called "mommy blogger", a term that needs to be eradicated from the English language dictionary. I was unaware of the heavy religious overtones before watching and quite frankly it came across as preaching to the audience. I felt like switching off after 30 minutes ( yes, that long !) but stuck with it, unfortunately my perseverance was not rewarded.
