This movie is perfect for this time of the year. Even the title's actually great and the idea quite fresh for the slew of horror movies we have, it really has to be given credit for that. Found footage style is here to stay it seems and although I do hanker for sublime cinematic photography, the style applies itself well enough to this movie. There is a sense of vibrancy in the tour of the locations during this halloween period, going through Haunts and mixing in interviews with real life workers all adds to building a generally creepy and well made atmosphere thats great with pop corn and friends this time of year. There is one thing holding this movie back however and it's that possibly the director and writer should have concentrated more being behind the camera to make this good movie great. Essentially the acting of the central characters didn't shine much for me. Difficult to do with the GoPro camera approach however the characters just didn't inspire any empathy and all seemed a tad lame expect the beardy bloke. All in all good fun popcorn movie for this time of the year and I hope another installment will be along and more slick undoubtedly.
