Warning: Contains Spoilers "The Wrong Goodbye" is an emotional roller-coaster. First I was laughing and then I was crying. The storyline of Blair and Chuck is exciting. Chuck saves Blair from Russell Thorpe and then the two of them go to a random bar mitzvah where they laugh and dance and are really happy. Blair dances in the middle of a big circle and chuck joins her and they spin around together. Then she gets lifted in the air in a chair and he follows and they hold hands in the air. It's a wonderful moment in such high spirits for the characters as well as the viewer. I found myself laughing at the ridiculousness of the whole situation. I loved their happiness. This was one of my all time favorite Blair-and-Chuck-scenes.

Later in the evening, Blair and Chuck have a super emotional heart to heart where he tells her there's a difference between a great love and the right love. They say they will always love each other but Chuck says they have to let go. It's absolutely heartbreaking. Chuck does such a brave thing here showing he has indeed matured. This scene is a powerful scene that moved me to tears. It has me eager to see the next season. It makes you imagine Chuck's perspective. He tells Blair to marry another guy and now he has to spend his whole life yearning for the one thing he loves in the world.

The episode captures the essence of this feeling and invokes empathy in the viewer. Through the ups and downs, Blair and Chuck have survived due to their crazy, intense love. I don't think they will ever stop loving each other as much as they suppress their feelings and this makes me sad. "Gossip Girl" is a truly addicting show and it has me rooting for Blair and Chuck!!

In addition, we see a plot twist at the end when Charlie Rhodes turns out to be "Ivy" paid by Lily's sister. I'm sure this will be explained in the next season but it really makes me curious. If you've seen this episode, you know it's a dramatic one that pulls on your heart strings. It deals with real emotions and lacks the typical superficiality of the show.
