5/10
Childish HK comedy.
28 November 2014
This is another Hong Kong comedy starring Chow Yun-Fat, who this time plays tycoon Lam Bo Sun. To his dismay, he has an arranged marriage with shallow socialite Cindy Chan (Nina Li Chi), which causes him to flee his rich life and start a new one as a bus boy at a restaurant, where he meets his dream girl Hung Leung Yuk (Sylvia Chang).

This is a light-hearted comedy with some pretty whimsical characters, including the girl-troubled Rocky Ma (Kwan Yuen Wong) and four restaurant employees portrayed by the HK rock bad Beyond. Plenty of goofy moments as well that render this movie childish and, at many times, annoying. Chow Yun-Fat and Sylvia Chang held up their own pretty well for what was given them in the silly script, but much of the actors in the film looked like they were just goofing around at times while making the movie.

The plot is pretty slow and doesn't have much to go on, but there are some plot twists and surprises that make up the film somewhat.

Overall, it's a film to watch once just to see Chow Yun-Fat at another shot at comedy, but not one to watch over and over again for entertainment purposes.
