Gossip Girl is narrating Ivy League week. The Upper East Siders schools of Constance Bilard for Girls, and their rival St. Jude For Boys, prepare for an anxiously awaited visit from Ivy League representatives. Nate doesn't want to go to Dartmouth, but faces extreme pressure from his Father to attend it. Dan has his heart set on a coveted Usher position, but Nate manages to get the spot instead, breaking Dan's heart. Dan's Father decides to go to bat for him and manages to convince Serena's mother to give Dan a Dartmouth referral even if it means getting rid of his pride. The vindictive Blair is still conspiring with Chuck to belittle and ruin Serena's life and still won't forgive Serena for her scandalous betrayal, doing everything she can to one-up her. That includes taking cheap shots at her during field hockey. Chuck stalks Serena and catches her going into a treatment clinic. If that isn't enough, Dan is still acting short and weird with her for her controversial actions. Serena decides to take Eric with her. Eric forms a bond with Dan's sister Jenny. Things go awry when Blair thinks Serena has drug problems when it's actually Eric.

Wow! I loved the first two episodes, but this one is very memorable. All the situations rang true to me and every character is developed beautifully. I was rather indifferent towards him for the first couple episodes, but Nate is starting to connect with me. I really felt for him in this episode. His bossy father really got to me! I actually yelled "You f**** prick!" at one point. That goes to show you how much I'm starting to get emotionally invested in Nate. He's still one of my least favorites, but that may change quickly. His storyline with his Dad is all too real. Serena's romance with Dan continues to evolve nicely and I'm really into it. Dan's reaction to Serena's controversial past is both believable, but also somewhat childish, which is exactly how I would react. Dan is a real person that I can relate too on every level! Serena's bitter feud with Blair is intensified in a big way. Serena's actions were kinda unforgivable, but Blair goes WAY too far in her pursuit for revenge. Their chemistry is amazing and I continue to be highly impressed by both women. The ending is very moving. It gives you just enough happiness, but a bit of doubt to keep you wondering what will happen next. Have they really formed a truce? Characters like Eric and Jenny are evolving nicely as well. Ed Westwick doesn't have much to do as Chuck in this one, but he's as sneaky and despicable as ever!

It's funny! I originally decided to check out this show because of my huge crush on Blake Lively! I'm really into the show and the characters. Screw what people think! This show can be enjoyed by guys as well. It has something for everyone. An amazing episode, no question about it
