Looks great, but the story was not there.

Some well crafted filmmaking going on here, as the cinematography was great. For that, it was an excellent motion picture with great scenery that documented the environment they were in.

But the film falls so short on the story, so short. If you ask me what the movie was about after watching it, I could not tell you. The premise of movie about war and poverty forcing two friends to leave their home, after the conflict calms enough was not there. I literally thought I was in the wrong Theatre.

The sub plot of the movie about one of the boys falling for an environmentalist trying to figure out how polluted the man-made island is took more center stage. It would seem that the poverty hitting this place out weights the war, which is fine, but confusing.

Especially when the film takes so much time showing us the brotherly friendship of the two boys rather than connecting the dots of the tale.

But the film is still so amazing to watch. It's the moving photo a film should be. Its hard to tell if the filmmakers want me to feel the beauty or feel sadden, cause his shots were amazing. That's definitely what's worth the price
