I'm making this short review for one reason: Someone said in another review that "The plot doesn't go anywhere, 1/10". That person clearly doesn't understand that a thing called subplots exist, and the subplots of this show are fantastic and engaging. The main plot introduced hasn't moved particularly far forward this season, but that really isn't a problem. MANY shows don't advance the main plot until at least a few introductory seasons have passed.
Oh, and someone also said "this show is aimed at the LBGT community". No... no it isn't. Sense8 includes quite a few same-sex love scenes, but it also has many heterosexual love scenes. This show is progressive; it has adapted to our culture today, which is why it might come across as 'LGBT oriented' to a narrow-minded few.
But really, give it a shot. I'm sure you'll love it.
