Hopefully that song will not get stuck in your brain, after watching the movie. Though if you're watching this, chances are you already know what this will be about. And while I am not too familiar with the show itself, everybody knows Spongebob. Watching it as a kid or with kids (in my case it was my nephew), makes this more than worthwhile.
The plot is not complicated, but Banderas as an evil pirate seems like he wanted (or had to?) channel a lot of Captain Jack Sparrow. Like an evil brother or distant cousin or something like that. The effects are nice and the movie swings back and forth between the "real" world and the animated one. Just to merge both of them towards the end, adding a little bit of CGI to it for a good mixture. Decent movie, that is entertaining enough throughout (extras during the end credits)
