5/10
Entertaining enough...

What would the month of October be without a nice horror anthology?

'A Christmas Horror Story' is a solid, fun little film, with surprisingly entertaining stories. There really isn't a bad story in the bunch, and I did somewhat enjoy each story going on simultaneously, never allowing us to become bored with one story, before moving on to the other. It's a nice change of pace. The acting isn't the best, but you should have figured that out by the time you see William Shatner. If you decide to stick around - there's worse films out there, and a lot more to come in the upcoming weeks, and I'm sure I'll get to see every single one. God, help me.

I won't bother breaking down each story, or the plus and minuses. Each story is entertaining enough, and it all leads up to a final twist. I'm not entirely sure why a twist ending was needed here, but it doesn't hurt the film in any way. It's better than anything M. Night Shyamalan has done in recent years.

Random Ramblings of a Madman: Some of the acting really holds the film back, which explains my 5 out of 10 score. But I don't regret seeing it, which is a fine compliment, since most horror films leave me questioning when I'll ever bother watching another film again.
