I worked for BP Oil for over 20 years. And although I was not with the crude oil business end, I did spend some wonderful years in pipeline. Than I did spend years in their scheduling department. That's tanker truck scheduling. Even though I have forgotten almost everything, I sit here and feel on top of the world with all the mistakes they make and I catch! I'm guessing some of the more obvious ones are for TV drama! But when friends ask me is that right? You know they can't even be close, so forget the drama stuff and get close to reality. I have seen much bigger mistakes concerning the oil business that anyone with a bit of common sense could see things were way off. First thing Hollywood could do is check the consistency of oil, crude and refined. Than flammability! I do enjoy the characters so I will keep watching. This program makes feel like a oil genius.
