I don't go down on my knees......

Warning: Spoilers
Martin is a loser, with a mundane life. When he fails an audition as guitar player in Lindsay's band, and loses his job on the way, he makes a deal with a Voodoo priestess.

She promises him the fulfilment of all his dreams if he swears obedience to her.

He becomes a rock star and has many women - but to stay alive, he has to kill other people........

If the main protagonist was an endearing character, the type of person who was a loser,a but deserved of a better life, then you would have some sort of anti-hero to root for.......even if it did mean killing people to survive.

But no, Martin is an abhorrent sloth like human being, the type of omnipotent person who thinks that they don't have to work hard to get reach their goals, and if someone is critical of them, they are wrong.

Martin is the type of person who spies on naked women, doesn't take kindly to orders, so I thought in some strange way, the gift he would be given, may just change him a little.

But no, he turns into a more parasitic morsel, and he's supposed to be the character that the narrative revolves around?

The rest of the film is just chock full of bad music, bad hair, and nudity for the sake of nudity.

If you haven't heard of this film before, it's for a good reason, it's not very good, and looks cheap.

Amid the cheap shots at Ozzy, and featuring minor roles for once prolific actors, Shock 'Em Dead makes no sense, just like its title.

Stick with Once Bitten or Vampires Kiss.
