The mother made me watch this as she has seen this film in 1993. I didn't see the beginning of the movie because we were flicking channels since there was nothing else on, but suddenly this came on so we were glued to it already! The fact that its about a girl who found out her boyfriend was with another woman who was gone missing - makes this film rather ridiculous. I wouldn't be like Rita, I would dump his a** and not get involved in finding the woman he was with all along! I have never seen the original and yet since I've seen this already, I wouldn't bother my arse tbh....
I really think Sandra Bullock should've been the one investigating the missing girl that the boyfriend was with. Nancy Travis is a good actress but since Bullock is more famous now than then, I think she should've been the female lead role really................
